Siste dag på Island, og avslutning med bading i "fresk bris" i den blå lagunen, dog noen vil si storm da ...men herlig å bade alikevel...:0)

Da har jeg havnet i Reykjavik, og som vanlig har jeg med meg kamera. Her er noen bybilder fra dagens byvandring :0)
Synes Zebraene er så fine dyr, de har da så fint mønster da gitt :0)
Her har jeg vært litt i sommerarkivet igjen og funnet frem noen bilder av noen beitende Zebraer i ro og mak.
På nederste bilde måtte Zebraene bare pent stille seg i kø og vente på tur for å få seg litt vann, og Elefanten hadde goood tid
Løver er mektige dyr. Her er noen løvebilder fra Sør Afrika.
De øverste løvene her er svært interressert i 8 giraffer som stirrer skeptisk tilbake, skal si løvene hadde jaktinstinktet inne. Løven på det midterste bildet var skeptisk til oss, han har skadet øyet sitt. Nederst er det noen løver som har fanget et bytte. Dette er visst et sjelden syn ifølge de lokale, og særlig når de i tillegg hadde fanget en bøffel :0)
Det er så fantastisk å oppleve ville dyr på nært hold, og enda bedre - et paradis for fotografering. Så under ferien i Sør Afrika for noen uker siden måtte det jo knipses, her et lite utvalg nr. 1 ( for det kommer flere ;0) ). Synes det var litt artig med Geparden som gjesper, bøffelgjengen som kommer
Dagen i dag har gått med til litt sighseeing i Oslo, måtte jo ta noen bilder da.
Her er et av bildene fra "Nye Holmenkollen" hvor jeg hilser litt på Fritjof Nansen i forgrunnen ;0).
Siden det regner ute, har jeg funnet frem noen sommer bilder fra Mauritiustur for et par uker siden.......så da er det bare å drømme seg bort til varme og sol, strand og bad i palmesus.. :0)
Here is one more shot of the fascinating Australian Gum trees or Eucaluptus. 700 species can be found there of that tree. Amazing how the bark is loose on this species….

And this is the scene, where I met what I regard as the most typical of the Australian animals. The kangaroo!

The reason for
I am leaving for Europe next week so apart from the travel planning part of this trip I though I would write down and plan what I might be looking for in terms of clothes. We are definitely not on holiday to shop, but when in Paris there are a few things one must see and perhaps buy. These are things that will complete my basic wardrobe, but I will not buy

Right now I'm sitting in Sue's sittingroom, or maybe it's an office or something, I'm not sure, I think they use this room for reading and drinking tea. In any case it's been my sleeping courters since I got to Kingston.

I totally miscalculated how heavy 50 kg would be to carry around on. Now I have a whole 'nother understanding of the word luggage after lugging the damn rubish around all day. My fingers feel like they're going to blister and I can't really lift my arms higher than my shoulders.
But... on a brighter side I'm in Kingston now, sitting on (or in) a very comfortable couch at the Potterybar, drinking a SanMiguel, waiting for my pan fried
